MRE drink mix comparison
The first thing I noticed was that the International meals drink has a lot more powder so I was thinking that it would win the taste test. I added 12 ounces of cold water to each drink mix and had everyone get two cups to do our taste test. Here are the results. Renee said "The Sopakco drink mix had more flavor but it tasted sugar free like a diet drink, but I still preferred the Sopakco drink mix because I usually drink diet". David said "They were very similar in taste, the orange had more flavor and I like that it has Vitamin C." David preferred the International Meals drink mix. Loree said "I prefer the lemonade (The Sopakco drink mix) probably because it is sugar free and I like diet and the orange was too sweet". I (Tom) preferred the orange flavored drink mix in the International Meals MRE because it just had more flavor. It was sweeter and the other drink mix did have a little diet flavor to it.
