Inside a case of MRE's
I can't wait to see why the Sopakco MRE's weigh significantly more than the International Meals MRE's. Of course it could simply be packaging. I am holding one of each MRE in my hand right now and the Sopakco is thicker than the International Meals MRE. I also notice that the Sopakco MRE has two cardboard containers inside instead of the one in the International Meals MRE. Apparently Sopakco puts the main entree and the side dish in a cardboard box as well as it's plastic pouch as opposed to International Meals that just has the main entree in cardboard and the side dish only in it's plastic pouch. Looks like the extra weight might just be packaging only. Let's take an MRE apart. CampingSurvival.com. It's not about the END OF THE WORLD - It's not about surviving a hypothetical PLANE CRASH - It's about the SATISFACTION YOU GET knowing you can take care of yourself and/or your family in ANY SITUATION, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!
