Our two main MRE'sHere is one case each from our two main MRE suppliers. The case on the bottom is from Sopakco and I just weighed it at 18 pounds. The case on top is from International Meals Supply and weighed in at 14.2 pounds. When I weighed it, David in the shipping/receiving department told me that the weight varies on the MRE case. Sometimes they weigh in at 15 pounds. I’m sure that is simply due to the variety of meals, side dished and all the other various components in the MRE. If one has a cookie and cheese spread, it will probably weigh a bit different than one with peanut butter and short bread. You get the point. Also, if you add MRE heaters to your order that changes the weight as well. While MRE’s are our best selling emergency food, we also have quite a variety of other types of emergency meals and emergency food here. CampingSurvival.com. It's not about the END OF THE WORLD - It's not about surviving a hypothetical PLANE CRASH - It's about the SATISFACTION YOU GET knowing you can take care of yourself and/or your family in ANY SITUATION, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!
