Cooking the solar jerky

I went ahead and worked on my solar jerky. Here's how it went:

My solar jerky is done. It worked. Yeah! However, I have once again proven what an idiot I am. After putting the racks full of beef strips in the cooker I realized that I had too much beef. So I pulled out my electric dehydrator and put the rest on there thinking that it would be a good test. Solar against electric. Anyway, after two morning soccer games, running to Lowe's for another project and dropping one of the kids at a birthday party I didn’t get the thing going until 12:30.
