Solar Hybrid Cooker Has High and LowThis is just a shot of the Hybrid Solar Ovens control panel. It has an on / off switch as well as a high and low button. Depending on the sun and weather conditions and / or the time of day you can select how much electricity you add to the suns rays. Or since it often takes a solar cooker quite a while to do the initial warm up, you could just use the hybrid aspect of electric backup at first when you turn the solar oven on to get it up to temp. Keep in mind that if it is an optimal solar day the electric backup will kick off automatically. So again your only using the electric back up, or cheating as some might say, when there is not enough solar energy to cook with.
