Hybrid Solar Oven Cooker set upIn this first pic, you can see that Dave brought a marine battery and a power inverter with him as the hybrid electric backup for the solar cooker. We could have just plugged it into my garage outlet, but Dave came prepared. By the way, I see that the pic has a date of 2005 on it. I just realized it and need to change the date. However, these pics were taken this past weekend. Dave also pointed out that the mirrors are of such high quality that they reflect more light back than a regular mirror. That's the thing about this new hybrid solar cooker. Some might say, "heck, I'll make my own darn solar cooker". This was made in India and due to their electric system they don't solar cook as a novelty, in many places it is a necessity. This solar cooker is the evolution of much research and many new developments. This first time you see it and play with it, you'll be as impressed as I am. That's why I put all this up here. It's such an amazing new solar product that I just have to show it off. I'm sure my wife will be picking on me all summer while we're camping and I've got it set up. But on the other hand, I know people will be asking me about it all day long and dying to try my "solar" chocolate chip cookies. CampingSurvival.com. It's not about the END OF THE WORLD - It's not about surviving a hypothetical PLANE CRASH - It's about the SATISFACTION YOU GET knowing you can take care of yourself and/or your family in ANY SITUATION, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!
