Aurora Magnesium Fire Starter Video

The Aurora magnesium fire starter is one of the newer tools I’ve had a chance to use for fire making and I love it. What makes is special is that it appears to be just the standard fire starting rod that you scrape away sparks to throw at your tinder and get the fire going. However, this fire starter actually has a high concentration of magnesium impregnated right in the rod. So when you scrape strike the rod and throw sparks at your tinder, they’re not quick burning sparks that go out quickly, they have that super hot burning, smoldering magnesium that burns for several seconds and makes it a heck of a lot easier to get a fire going.

Below is my first attempt at video for one of our products. I think it’s pretty good thanks to the help of a good friend who knows this stuff. Check out our fire starting video below.
